Core Awakening

Core Awakening offers a holistic approach towards restoring, reconnecting, and repatterining core engagement within the female body. I currently offer two versions: online/in-person for the postpartum woman or online/in-person for ALL women. I have found over the years that the information I share from a postpartum perspective is equally important for all women, regardless of having a baby or not. For now, I have the two programs that offer slightly different perspectives and vocabulary.

The series includes gentle embodiment exercises that are derived from pelvic health physiotherapy, yoga and pilates. No experience is needed. All content has been reviewed and approved by pelvic health physiotherapists.


Core Awakening (ONLINE) POSTPARTUM:

A 5-weeks, based on the aesthetic framework of the 5-Elements, offering a holistic perspective on postpartum restoration. Each lesson is purposefully curated to introduce simple methods to establish postural alignment, breath connection, pelvic floor balancing and activation of the deep core system as a means to provide a solid foundation from which a safe and confident movement practice (or daily practice of any kind) can be established. This course also offers relevant meditations, self-tending tips and affirmations specific for a postpartum woman and is hosted through Love Based Birth Hive, an incredibly resourceful online community for expectant and new parents.

Each week includes 75min of live content/Q&A call, 60min worth of pre-recorded yoga practices in 15min mini-lessons, pre-recorded meditations, affirmations, PDF notes and exercise reminder sheets. The course also includes a bonus 60min pelvic health workshop by Amber and a library of Postpartum Yoga Classes for further practice.

Core Awakening (ONLINE OR IN-PERSON) ALL WOMEN:

This foundational series of 4 in-person classes is purposefully curated to introduce simple methods to establish postural alignment, breath connection, pelvic floor balancing and activation of the deep core system as a means to provide a solid foundation from which a safe and confident yoga practice (or daily practice of any kind) can be established, for women of any life stage.

These sessions are aimed at rehabilitating and empowering women to live in their vibrancy and totality and are open to women of all life stages - those who are pubescent, pregnant, postpartum, perimenopausal, postmenopausal, and/or who are simply looking to connect to their core foundation properly (regardless of ever having been pregnant or not). These practices are incredibly valuable for any woman to bring into their daily life and regular asana practice.


Each week includes a 90 min, in person class where 15 min are given for discussion and content introduction, followed by 60min of practice, and time left over for Q&A. Sessions include PDF notes & exercise guidelines, as well as a private WhatsApp group for connection.
